Therapy for Teens
Maybe you have a teen struggling with school, relationships or boundaries...

Service Name

Effective therapies I use with teens include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
These therapies can be done individually, with family members, or in group settings.
As a parent, certified teacher and past youth leader, I have experience working with teens & parents on multiple levels of the educational, familial
& social spectrum.
Have you noticed that your teen has not been themselves?
Are they isolating, having trouble in relationships at school, or or with friends?
Is your teen preoccupied
to the point where it affects them mentally and emotionally?
Many of the teens I work with start their counseling journey in high school and continue with me through the transition into college virtually. Its an honor to be with them as they grow.
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) is a talk therapy that focuses on how relationships and social interactions affect mood and mental health. It's a structured approach that aims to improve interpersonal functioning and reduce symptoms of conditions like major depression. IPT suggests that psychological distress can be understood as a response to current difficulties in relationships. You can find more information about DBT and CBT, mentioned above, here:
